So I'm testing 1st grade students today. I show one of my little girls some pictures,

Me: "Here's a picture of a pillow, a stick, a horse and a goat. Which one starts
with /h/?"
Girl: "I used to have a horse."
Me: "Really? That's really neat!"
Girl: "Yeah, he was stabbed."

Me: "um..........."

Rese on Homework

Me: "Rese is your homework done?"
Rese: " Sort-of, Sami wanted to trade school shoes so she's doing my homework all week".
Me: " Um....."
